RUN BY PROFESSIONALS
The BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY is run by BANGKOK GALAXY FC, a Youth Football Academy for boys and girls aged 3-19 which seeks to both develop technically excellent players and get them ready for competitive matches at all levels.
The BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY is run following the methodology of legendary Barcelona Coach Horst Wein focusing on Game Intelligence.
Horst Wein’s revolution at youth level is what led to the creation of the golden Barcelona generation of Xavi, Busquets, Messi and Iniesta.
BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY
The BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY is a yearlong program where committed players train and compete throughout the whole year.
The top 12 players from BCB for each age group are selected to join the BCB First team and represent the school at inter-school leagues and tournaments during football season. Many of which are from the academy and once that season ends they return to the academy to continue their development with their peers.
All BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY Players, whether in the school team or not, train on Saturdays and Weekdays and compete in friendlies, leagues, and tournaments on some Sundays all year long with the majority of matches taking place at BCB.
FOR PLAYERS WITH AMBITION
Players with ambition to represent the School are strongly advised to train with the Academy all year round. We ask for full commitment from players. If you don’t train, you might not play.
BANGKOK GALAXY FC provides a pathway to two first division clubs in France, one first division club in Italy and one first division club in Portugal.
Important
BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY players will have a higher chance of being eligible for selection into the BCB First Team.
AN INCLUSIVE ACADEMY
The BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY is composed of up to three teams for the boys category and the girls category by age group.
The BCB FOOTBALL ACADEMY therefor is fully capable of accepting serious players of all levels from the experienced athlete to the curious beginner.
